How to handle soap fault messages as a payload?

Hi experts,

May I handle soap fault messages as a payload? I'm using PI 7.0. I would need handle those messages in a BPM. I have read this thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1621839 where you can see that it is not possible. But, how can I explain to the final client that. Is there any Sap Note or similar due to strenght my plot?
