Mapping Transformation of Encrypted Messages

Hi SAP Experts,

I would like to ask for your assistance regarding a scenario I have to implement.

A message flows into PI which the sender comm channel encrypts.

Is there a way to do mapping transformation of an encrypted message?

The security requirement of the client is that the message must remain encrypted while in PI because it contains confidential data.

I cannot think of a way to do mapping for this message if it is encrypted because it will fail in the integration engine.

Please help.
