Removing namespace from the target message

Dear All,

I would like to remove the following namespace from the target message

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<ns1:SubmitData xmlns:ns1="http://www.rmss.com/data">

<XmlData>

.................

.................

</XmlData>

</ns1:SubmitData>

I would like to remove the following from the message

1. <ns1:SubmitData xmlns:ns1="http://www.rmss.com/data">

2. </ns1:SubmitData>

Please suggest
