I am encountering the error above whenever I am trying to send to a webservice via SOAP adapter.

Please help.

Full error message: Delivering the message to the application using connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.getBytes() of a null object loaded from local variable 'targethost'.
