Error Handling in PO 7.4 using BPM

Hi Experts

We have SAP PO 7.4 single stack.

My Question is:

Is there a way where we can make use of BPM for error handling of PI interfaces?

In general, we create Alert rules which creates alerts if any interface fails.

Here i was looking if we can make use of BPM to capture the errors and log it/perform some activity.

I know the question sound absurd but want to find out if we can make use of BPM in error handling of PI Interfaces
