content conversion error in sender jms adapter

Hi Experts,

I tried to search for this kind of issue but i didn't find. I hope you can help me.

My scenario is flat file to IDOC .Sender side we are using jms adapter with content conversion module. i'm using PI 7.1

My flat file consists of 3 fields

Now in my scenario when 'm sending the data with only 2 fields message is failing at adapter level i'm unable to find the reason but when i send the data with 3 fields message is success.

Is this a data issue or any other issue, in content conversion i mentioned 3 fields but there i didn't find any mandatory check box.

My question is when i send the only 2 fields values will it fail in the sender adapter or not.
