JMS Queue monitoring before Adapter Engine processing

Hello Experts.

Does any one know if PI/PO 7.40 has the capability of monitoring messages dropped in a JMS Queue published by PI/PO itself before these are processed by the adapter engine. If not then how can this be done ?
