IP address changed but PI has old IP in cache so polling is failing

Hi experts,

my problems is:

I have a sender communication channel that points at ftp.xxx.com.

Now IP address related to ftp.xxx.com has changed, but PI still has in cache old IP address, so polling is failing.

I know that I can solve this restarting J2EE from SMICM, but since problem is only in 1 channel over 200 total channels,

is not a valid solution for us to restart production PI while is working.

My question is: There is a way to avoid this problem? Like a SAP NOTE, a configuration of Java, ecc....
