HTTPS Receiver Adapter

Hi All,

I need couple of details about the PI(7.0) receiver adapter for https URL.

We have existing http receiver adapter which sends xml file to 3rd party vendor using http URL.

Now business want to send it to https URL.

Can we use HTTP or SOAP receiver adapter for https URL and we have vendor trusted certificate which can be uploaded in TrustedCA keystore? does it need anything else? any changes in mappings or xml changes?

Vendor does not required our certificate.

do we need to enable https(ABAP) and SSL(Java) for this?both are already enabled in our PI system.

if you can provide me best approach to take forward that will be very helpful.(SOAP or HTTP Adapter).
