PI/PO vs HCI for S&OP HANA integration

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has integrated S&OP HANA using PI/PO.

This document on the S&OP hana help page  explains the integration using HCI http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sop301/hci10_integration_sop_en.pdf

And to be clear, that is not what I am looking for. Instead the question is can I leverage my on-premise PI ?

Couple of follow up queries...

1. Does S&OP hana have APIs/Web services, if so, it would be strightforward to use PI ?

2. Are there any pre-built SWCVs by SAP with mappings and data type definitions between S&OP HANA and other SAP products such as ECC or APO ?
