Hello all,
I am trying to come out with a condition like the following in the condition editor
If ( (LNAME = XYZ or Name = ABC) AND (Company = SAP)
If you notice in the condition editor, the AND condition always get "bracketed" with the previous condition.
In this case as seen in the screenshot, it is
If ( (LNAME = XYZ) OR (Name = ABC AND (Company = SAP))
How can I move the BRACKET easily to manipulate the condition?

I am testing the ALEAUD for one of the interface. I am sending the data from ECC for one of the field as S02 whereas when it comes to PI it is changed.
Wondering where this change in data could happen. There is no mapping involved here. It failed in Receiver Determination step itself, since expecting the data as S02. We are in PI version 7.4 Single stack.
(* Please Note : MESFCT is not the EDIDC segment data. It is the data sent in the idoc.)
Can you please help me in identifying the cause.

Hi All,
We have an Interface (Email to File Scenario). PI is connected to Outlook server using Sender Mail Adapter using POP (with Mail Package).
We need to read the email and save it as-is in .eml format in File server. Once the users opens that ,eml file, it should be visible as the actual email that was sent to Outlook server (containing all rich text data and attachments in it)
Please let us know if there is any standard approach to achieve this in PI.

Hi All,
We have an Email to File Scenario. PI is connected to Outlook server using Sender Mail Channel using POP3.
We are able to fetch and read the Attachment filenames (using Attachment.getContentType method) correctly for most of the received emails. However we notice that for Email sent from Yahoo mail ID, we are not getting the Attachment Filename in contentType. See the attached screenshot from Pimon for difference. Due to this PI fails to read the Attachment files and does not forwards it to the receiver system, causing loss / drop of att file.
Let us know if you faced similar issue and possible way to read the Attachment filenames.

Scenario: File to File (pass through) :Legacy File System to SAP PI (B2B),PI is used to connect with third party system as a B2B hub and places file in to ECC system.
Q1) How to fetch a file securely from third party system (multiple ways like SFTP etc...)
Q2) Whether PI File channel can decrypt the file if source has encrypted files? any other ideas in case source has encrypted file.

Hello,
we are working on a SAP PI 7.4 SP9 Java Only installation and recognized the following issue:
When I check in the Message Monitor "All" messages I get shown messages with status System Error
When I change not my filter to messages with status "Containing errors" nothing is returned.
Also when I try to work with the status group error, only a empty result is returned.
I was not able to find a note for that and I did not found a hint in the SDN/SCN.
Does anyone have the same issue and knows a solution or do you think it's a software bug?

Hi guys,
we have a problem as one of our customers sends a SOAP request, which header parameter Content-type is specified only as text/xml, without a charset setting. The adapter does not accept it, Web AS returns a WAS exception.
ANy idea how this could be resolved? The best way to add the value into the HTTP header or how to make the WAS accpet such requests?

My scenario is JMS -> PI/PO 7.4 Single Stack -> ECC(IDOC).
Getting the below error in the receiver Idoc communication channel while the message is processing.

The issue is solved with the work around solution to fix, We did quickly (Created DummyXXX in SLD with logical name XXXXXXXXXX and was used as a overwrite sender in ICO)
There are two sender and receiver IDOC communication channel in one Business System and specified the logical system in Adapter-Specific Identifiers
and getting the above error.
When created Dummy BS in SLD and used the logical name to overwrite sender, Can any one suggest the solution for this error.

Whenever I am checking cache this error are showing
"Unable to determine the name of the central Adapter Engine from the System Landscape Directory at this time
Notifications to the central Adapter Engine are therefore listed using the technical name of the Adapter Engine
This is usually structured as follows:

Hello,
I have to send data from a proxy to a restful service, what happens to the company for which I am making the scenario does not want to buy a restful adapter.
The idea that I have to solve the problem is:
1. Create a module that converts xml to json for the request.
2. Create a module that convert to xml json response.
Now that adapt standard can be filled to generate the restfull behavior, to use the GET and POST, and use the modules created.
With respect to the modules already done looking I found one that works with json

Hi All,
We have scheduled the job RSQIWKEX in our PI landscape. This job gets failed in our quality system, after we have performed SPS update. It has terminated with runtime error CONNE_IMPORT_WRONG_OBJECT_TYPE. Our SAP system version is Netweaver 731. We have updated the stack level from 9 to14. But the same job is running without any error in development system even after SPS update. So can anyone suggest what might have caused the job failure?

i'm trying to schedule a job in PI to periodically run an interface. i'm following these 2 blogs by Vikas Singh.
After deploying the ejb module, and creating task, when i go and check in Java scheduler: Job in NWA,i see that its in 'Satring' state and is stuck in that state for a day after which no entry for the job is found in Jobs tab
Looks like, the job is not getting scheduled.
Seeking for some pointers in this regard

We have an issue in our PI system in which Full CPA cache runs automatically once in an hour .
We were facing some issues with one of our interfaces. There were some erroneous messages with that interfaces.
To resolve the issue , we tried scheduling delta CPA cache refresh which did not help.
Hence we triggered a full CPA cache refresh.
We have started getting issues with many interfaces after that.
And this full cache refresh gets triggered once in an hour automatically.
Can anyone please let me know how to stop it and what is the exact job name in sm37 for Full CPA cache refresh?

I am working in PI 7.3 dual stack.
In ABAP stack, I have created "Sender/Receiver Id" and "Filters" for Queue Prioritization in SXMB_ADM->Configure Sender/Receiver ID and
SXMB_ADM->Configure Filter for Queue Prioritization.
Can you tell how we can to transport these Sender/Receiver Id and Filters, from Dev to QA to PRD.
