I had got requirement changes in HCM outbound interface to take future date where i have made the code changes in function module for the messages type.then whether we are going to change the mapping in message mapping in SAP PI for outbound interface.please suggest me.

I have a file --> xi --> idoc scenario in which I have to populate COND_A idoc.
The COND_A structure is:
IDOC
---- EDI_DC40 maxoccurs 1
---- E1KOMG maxoccurs 1
.....
.....
Is possible to change maxoccurs of E1KOMG to maxouccurs: unbounded working on XSD scheme?
Or it raise an error when creating the IDOC?

Hi everyone,
I've seen several topics with issues similar to this one but I have had no luck in resolving the issue so far.
As stated in the title, I can't open ESR and ID for PI 7.31.
To describe what's been happening, either one of two things happen after clicking the link to open ESR and ID:
a) I get an application error ending with "jnlp file truncated after 10K" then it further describes the error as a premature EOF because of "FailedDownloadException: Unable to load resource".

or b) the jp2launcher.exe (or javaw.exe for 1.6) just stays on the list of processes without any progress or error message.
I'm currently running Java 1.7.0_71 but I've tried uninstalling 7 then switching to 1.6.0_45 without success.
I've also tried clearing the cache for both Java and the browser followed by restarting.
If it's any help, at one point I tried with a new PC running Java 1.6.0_45 and it was able to function. However, after the PC silently updated to 1.7, my issue returned.

Hi,
I have already gone through few discussion on the forum about standard export & import of the data from SLD during migration.
In our case.
Older dev box has hostname: XYZ
New dev box has hostname: XYZ12
Now with import of technical system from older (XYZ) to the newer system (XYZ12) host name of these TS points to older dev box (XYZ) but not the new one I.E(XYZ12)
The older dev box will stopped at some point of time.
What are the options or solutions insight so that these TS points to new host not the old one?

Is there any different approach when we receive the .xml file as attachment ?
We are using PI 7.1 .

Can you please let me know the steps on wat software to install and where to get the necessary jar files from PI - so that I can open a *.zip - Imported archive file (which seems to include .java & .class files).
So, that I can open the actual code (.java) - and try to make the necessary edits (just need to ADD a few new fields to the existing JAVA mapping).

I doing a custom adapter module and one of the things that I have to do is recover a value from a value mapping.
For that I'm using the API com.sap.aii.mapping.value.api.XIVMService
I try many options always with the same result, but basically the simplest call is something like that:
String newString = XIVMService.executeMapping( "testavf", "cXML_Identity", "uno", "testtito", "cXML_SharedSecret");
Im throwing the this string as an ModuleException to debug the problem, and always the value of this string is:
Mapped value of Source: http://sap.com/xi/XI cXML_Identity testavf uno Target: http://sap.com/xi/XI testtito cXML_SharedSecret
But nothing else more..
I try with the standard context http://sap.com/xi/XI and also creating a VM with different context and also creating XIVMFactory.newIdentifier for the source and the target, always the result of the execution are the values I set for the call
I try also recovering all the String array and checking all the values there is only this one...
The information of my system is: NW731EXT_11_REL JAVA only Stack.

Is there a way to Sequence data amongst two different receivers. Maintain order at runtime is only applicable for multiple mappings for a single receiver.

I am getting the following error

Our Project had upgraded from Unix OS to Windows OS.
Most of the scenarios are File to Proxy or Proxy to File.
We have changed all the file path from Unix to Windows.
When we are testing the scenario, even if we give the Old unix path it is still picking the file from Windows.
Example: Old Unix Path: /abc/ifroot/rst/B142/ABC.txt
New Windows Path: D:\abc\ifroot\rst\B142\ABC.txt
The only change what we have done was insted of `/` we have replaced with `\` and added D: as this is windows server.
When i have put the ABC.txt file in D:\ykk\ifroot\rst\B142 Windows folder and If i give Old Path(Unix) /ykk/ifroot/rst/B142 in Communication Channel, it is still picking the file from Windows folder and executing the scenario.
Please help me with this.

Dear Experts,
Can you identify my issue in pi 7.4 some of the communication channels are not showing data/audit log details?
i can see most of the Service/components under channels data but only 2 difference services channels are not showing auditlog or message id details.
But moni is showing signals when check with the moni siganl message id and try to search in message monitoring i am not able find the message.

Q1. I have got a system where the PO is installed but there are no SCVs or business systems. Is it possible that I make all the objects as local objects instead of making anything in SLD. For eg. if I create software component versions in the the ESR itself and not define them is sld, what would be the problems faced later on during the transports.
Q2. If the source is an ECC system is it right to just create a Business Component without creating any Business System. If I do so what can be the problems faced by me?
I have worked on the systems where the Business Systems, Software Components and the Namespaces are already provided by the architech. Thus not sure about creating these things in the SLD. Please help me.

I get error in mapping. It say unparseable date in mapping and interface fails. I copy the same payload and paste it in Message mapping and operation mapping, it is working.
The error is same always..
I mapped the field to a constant date and executed mapping. I still get the same error.
Why this happening, any idea?

Two Receiver Channels are in status error with below error log.
Receiver channel '_' for party '*', service 'D'<br>Error can not instantiate RfcPool caused by:<br>com.sap.aii.adapter.rfc.RfcAdapterException: error initializing RfcClientPool:com.sap.aii.adapter.rfc.core.repository.RfcRepositoryException: can not connect to destination system due to: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)
How to know which jco & RFC are defined in this communication channnel.
Integration engine also in yellow.

Im trying to access a view from the keystore inside a java mapping, but im having the following error:
It says that user J2EE_GUEST does not have a permission, but im not configuring that user in the mapping. It is a default user that PI uses for all the access to the keystore?
What should I do in order to grant access to this user?
Ive seen many posts with this problem but they are not answered.

Hi guy, i am facin a rare problem.
i have a interface where i receive data from ECC system via RFC.
When the message reachs to PI the fields that were sent with data are black and also the the information in <field3> appears in <field1>
the scenario works fine in DEV environment, but not in QAS.
i delete all the scenario in QAS and create it manually in a dummy SWCV ussing others name but is the same.
has anyone face this problem?
