PI 7.4 Message mapping issue - IF statement not handling my price amendments.

So i've got a flat file pi is picking up. Two fields for price, unit price and price..

 

I've written a if statement like the attached.Capture2.PNG

 

I was hoping that in there, because i've written a EqualsS and used IF. I could pass values that have 0.00 value and send them as 0.01 values, the reason for this is the purchase requisition in ECC cant handle 0.00 values. 

 

This doesnt seem to work as the XML being passed still is having 0.00 values as per the test source file im sending in..

 

Attached is my source file, below is my output in XML.  Any ideas what im doing wrong?

alert configuration in pi 7.4 single stack

Hi,

 

couldu plz help me out for the step to createalert configurationin pi 7.4 single stack, asiam first time need to configured it..

what need to follow in esr,id level and configuration and monitoring level.

 

i.ei need to get an email, when alerttriggers. so, what need to be done in basis level?

 

This is actually idoc_aae to jdbcscenario.

Sender: ECC, Receiver: MS-SQL

 

 

Provide me with screen shots and do attach me the kinds of errors will occur when we are following the steps..

Issue with Transport in ESR for SAP pi 7.4

HI All,

 

We are moving 3 RFC's from Dev to QA but only 1 RFC is reflecting and there were no errors in transport,all went successfully..can anybody please advise?

SAP recommended file size

Hi ,

 

I have a scenario where I need to process 80 MB file (Flat file) to RFC/BAPI at SAP side.

 

  I know that the maximum recommended size according to SAP is 5MB. I need some reference document from SAP, where it is mentioned that recommended file size is 5 MB.

multiple .jar file in java mapping

Hi Experts

 

 

 

I have a scenerio in which I have used the java mapping..

The jar file which I have created is in Ecplise has around 10 jar files which also need to get imported.

so, I have created the zip file and created the imported archieve

issue 1

when i tried to use the imported archieve in OM, in the dropdown I cannt see archeive object

what i did:

I tried to add .class file of the main program and again impoted the archeive

ok, now I am able to see the objects

But again when I tried to run the Mapping in the OM , its throwing:

 

  • LinkageError at JavaMapping.load(): Could not load class: jar files - Copy/test_dom2
  • java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: jar files - Copy/test_dom2 (wrong name: com/tcs/interfaces/keycard/outbound/initiateKeycardRequest)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClassCond(ClassLoader.java:735)

 

 

My question is

 

1. do i need to add all the jar files in a zip folder

2. do i need to include the .class file externally of the main class?

3. I have seen in the post that linkage error is coz java which Pi is using and that of eclipse are different. What should i do in that case

webservices issue

Hi Exports,

 

I have implemented one interface between webservices and proxy. (soap to proxy Asynchronous)

 

now i have created WSDL and gave to client.

 

i know WSDL is having structure + URl. with this URL they will send data.


here my url is working with in the VPN only, so i have connected to network team. they are created new url accordingly to client port.

but while they sending data through that url they got some java null exception error.


i have tested my WSDL in soupUI tool. it is working and i got data in my system.this is with in the VPN.


But when i try to outside of URl that is new URL, we are not receive any data.

 

now my doubt is how they will data through that New URl. either they will create any wsdl or what.

please suggest.

PI 7.4 migration - converting abap mapping to the equivalent

hello!

 

I'm working on PI 7.4 single stack installation with a interface to be migrated from 7.1 dual having abap mapping....question is what are the way available for me to convert the abap mapping to the equivalent in 7.4...i guess the option is to go for java mapping but is there any other ways to perform this migration?

Code page problem

Hi,

I apologise in advance for the vague question but I don't have a lot of information on the error and also I am new to PI.

Essentially I have been told to look at a config scenario which is not working correctly due to a Code Page problem, apparently something wrong with "sysopts parameters". My scenario is a straightforward SFTP object, with 2 communication channels i.e. sender and receiver with SFTP adapter. I have many simple sftp scenarios like this, between the same Business systems and these are all working fine.

Somehow this particular one is incorrect and I have no idea where to begin looking for a 'code page' problem?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

 

we have one requirement with sender AS2 adapter which connects to third party bank system. currently PI has connected to third party bank system using  sender AS2 channel with transport protocol as HTTP, but now user wants to have the HTTPS connection. when I checked in sender AS2 channel we have only HTTP as transport protocol. could you please tell us is there any standard module to make it as HTTPS in PI 7.1

Hi experts,

 

RuntimeException during appliction Java mapping com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_RESELLEREXCLUSION_NIMBUS_ Thrown: com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf7.IllegalInstanceException: Cannot create target element /ns1:save. Values missing in queue context. Target XSD requires a value for this element, but the target-field mapping does not create one. Check whether the XML instance is valid for the source XSD, and whether the target-field mapping fulfils the requirement of the target XSD


can any one suggest me on this issue ASAP

SLD for NW 7.31 PO with De-Central Adapters

What's best practice for setting up an SLD in a landscape with multiple de-central adapters? Our landscape:

 

  • 3 tier landscape (DEV/QA/PROD with multiple QA environments) - java stack only
  • QA and PROD will have multiple de-central adapters
  • Each SID currently has a local SLD


My approach:


  • Central adapter serves as central SLD
  • Central adapter, via SLD bridge, sends data to de-central adapters and solution manager

 

The reason I'm choosing to create a bridge between the central and de-central's rather than have the de-central adapters use the central adapter as their SLD is to avoid having a single point of failure.

 

My question - is it possible to have the central adapter sync data to multiple SLD's? If so, how is this accomplished?

Deletion of Unnecessary namespace definitions from ESR in QA system?

Hi All,

 

During the transport of the SWCV for the first time from Dev to QA , i had checked include namespace definitions while using CTS, however i need to move only 1 namespace from DEV to QA, now after importing I could see only namespace definitions of other unnecessary namespaces have also been imported without having any objects in it.

 

When an administrator is trying to delete the namespace in QA he is not getting option to delete namespace.

Can anyone let me know what roles need to there to get this done i.e deletion of namespaces from QA or else is there any option to revert the transport of ESR?

On-Prem Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 integration options using PI 7.3

Experts,

 

We are in the entry phases of an implementation of an on premise Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 implementation.  The project has a requirement for consuming data from our SAP ECC system. Our thought is to utilize our PI system to be the middleware between the two servers. 

 

I've noticed a lot of talk about a product called Scribe.  From my research I've determined that this software was used as a front end to the Dynamics CRM databases.  Why?  My knowledge of Dynamics CRM is limited so I am grasping at why if you have PI and all it's middleware capabilities we would need Scribe?

 

Is the use of Scribe indicated when utilizing the cloud version of Dynamics CRM as the cloud version only allows API access?  When using on premise why would you use Scribe if you have a mature PI offering.

 

Any lessons learned or insight you can provide will be appreciated.

Hi All,

 

We are facing this issue in Production system.Dev and QA systems seems to be ok.

 

IN SXI_Cache tcode ,I view message as below

 

Unable to refresh cache contents:com.sap.aii.ib.core.abapcache.CacheRefreshException: Unable to find the SLD element (SAP_BusinessSystem, [CreationClassName, SAP_BusinessSystem, string, Name.

 

In RWB:

No System Landscape Directory registered

 

    

Error retrieving list of registered PI components from SLD; details: com.sap.aii.rwb.exceptions.BuildLandscapeException: No System Landscape Directory registered.


Pls suggest with a right pointer,

Error while processing files only with header line

hello,

 

while processing files only with one Header line (SFTP Adatapter -> Java Mapping -> Message Mapping -> Idoc) the idoc adapter is throwing
following error message:

 

 

Split mapping created no messages, cannot proceed. Review your mapping setup: splitting to 0 messages is not allowed.

any ideas? i think we have to configure the SFTP Receiver Adapter but the file isnt empty because of the Header line. is there any way without creating own module? thanks

SAP PO : File to Mail Scenario

Hello Guys,

 

I have a very simple scenario, where I have to pick a csv file and send the same as an attachment to an Email.

I know the theory is simple in this case, but however I am looking for simple and best scenario.

I am trying not to use mapping if possible.

 

I am using SAP PO 7.4 Java only.

 

Any thoughts ?
