As a pre-task to PI (7.31) upgrade we are moving classical (soap to idoc) scenario to java stack .
For which new ICO with different adapters(java based) are created.
Inorder to test one setup (classica or JAVA only) at a time we are disabling adapters of classical to test ICO and vice-versa.
BUt in all the cases only java setup gets triggered. Classical doesn't, even when adapters in ICO are disabled.
CAn anyone give some idea what could be wrong.

I am new to PI.My project need to migrate PI 7.0 to PO 7.4 dual stack.
My scenario is export all the configrations of integration builder from PI product system and import to new POD system.
but the names of business system are different between these 2 systems, such as BS_ANTO_PRD in PI product system but BS_ANTO_DEV in POD.
My question is how can I replace these business system in batch.

We are migrating from 7.3 dual stack to 7.4 single stack.There we have one interface which is from SFTP to ECC (via proxy).
We are sending one attachment with proxy.When testing we are getting the error in cc.
SOAP: Error occurred: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.xi.srt.BubbleException: HTTP Response Received. Status Code = 500 [null "null"]
In log the error is

In PO we have receiver cc where we are using desiantion as mentioned in NWA,it working for other interfaces ,but not for this one. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Experts,
I have used one transaction_reference field in the source structure and in target structure , here sender is the SOAP system and receiver is the SAP Proxy .
For that field i have used date type as integer and length is 16 in both sender and receiver structure .
My issue is when source send the data in transaction_reference field like '0000000123456789' then it is not showig any error,
BUT if sender the data like '1234567896325874' then it is showing the below error in the SXMB_MONI.
Is there any possibility without changing the data type as string of the field transaction_reference.

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I just cant seem to find a precise answer...
Is it possible to have 2 different IDOC types (SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 and ACC_DOCUMENT03) both at 0..unbounded (so I get many IDOCs in each message) in a message mapping that end up both going to the same receiver?
The source sender JDBC message should always create the SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 IDOC, but then only create the ACC_DOCUMENT03 IDOC based on a value in the source JDBC message.
I know how to set the 0..unbounded on the IDOC, and how to add 2 IDOCs into the mapping signature but then I'm not sure how to setup the Integration Directory objects.

We are facing problems with the switch procedure, we have more than 100,000,000 records in tables SXMSCLUP and SXMSCLUR so some weeks ago I Performed activitites to activate archiving and deletion procedure also I ran diferent reports to change status of some messages without final estatus and it was working
After some days we realized that tables SXMSCLUP and SXMSCLUR were still growing so an external consultant activated the switch procedure and after two weeks the process says that it continues, next is the screenshot that I see:
I have looked for running processes in sm50 but we don't have backgroud or dialogs proccesses running so I think the process of copy is not running anymore.
Is there a way to monitor the advance this process?
On the other hand, tables with termination 2 are growing and we don't have more space in our storage SAN next is the screenshot with the example:
the jobs of archiving and deletion are being cancelled this due the active switch procedure so we can't delete old messages.
Next are two parameters which we set according others discussions
I need to reduce the size of DB, please could you help me

My project does not have a PI Product and we are using our SOAP web services directly through SOAMANAGER and outside interfaces.
We got a WSDL from a new partner application, and after setting up the consumer proxy, when we are testing the connection at SM59(Under HTTP Connections), we are getting a status response as 415(Unsupported Media Type)
After doing a lot of research, i found out that we need to check the SOAP/HTTP Header to ensure that we are sending the request in the right format as required by the receiver. How, can we check the request or the actual response coming from an external HTTP System.
a) Is there any trace available within SAP?
b) Can SXMB_MONI be used in this case to check the XML Payload
c) What other ways do you suggest for troubleshooting this probem

In SOAMANAGER, while registering a consumer proxy through WSDL, we have a WSDL Access User ID and Pwd as well as proxy settings.
While creating Logical Port in the next step, we also need to provide the user id and password.
What is the difference between the two.
If we are calling an external web service for the first time, what questions in terms of authentication we need to ask to efficiently configure it in SOAMANAGER.
Kindly, share your thoughts or redirect me to any relevant resources providing explanation on security mechanisms in SOAManager.

When testing the files using file(FTP) to file(NFS) scenario I'm facing below error in receiver communication channel. The path is created in C drive in my system and its shared [C:\Users\admin\Documents\TaxInvoice].

This is in reference to an idoc to idoc interface between two SAP systems.We have a situation where we need to serialize standard MATMAS/CLFMAS from one system to a custom MATMAS/CLFMAS to the other system (as it is in a lower version).
1) If we use ZMATMAS/ZCLFMAS in the target system and use the same serialization group name as in the sender system to list the sequence of these idocs and schedule RBDSER04 to process them (without using SERDAT) - will this work.
2) If we use MATMAS/CLFMAS message type with an extension in the target system and configure the rest of Seralization by Message Type in the standard way will it be supported.
3) Is there any technical documentation on how the SERDAT works - I understand that it triggers the process of posting in the target system but need information like how it relates the corresponding MATMAS/CLFMAS idocs and check the posting. The Serial field in IDoc does not seem to be used here like for the Serialization by Idoc Types.
Any guidance will be helpful.

I can see a lot of SOAP adapter synchronous message in log version in sxmb_moni.Can anybody please help on how to avoid the log version error message in the SOAP adapter.The messages are there in log version status for the past one month.
